So the Girl is now spending the entire day at school since she started grade one on Tuesday. This also means that she is responsible for eating the food that I send for lunch. What I have learned is that you cannot trust a five year old to do any thing. At home I have to constantly tell her to eat her breakfast and dinner. So my question is: who is now responsible for making sure she eats? I send her to school with her lunch and the school gives the kids 20 minutes to eat her lunch and she doesn't eat anything.Don't they keep an eye on their students to make sure they have eaten? Isn't this part of caring for them for the day?
