Today was the Husband's birthday. We had to leave the house by 11am, so of course the morning was rushed. We got out by about 10:30am, ahead of schedule. It was probably the first time all week, that we'd been ahead of schedule!! We stopped off at Target to pick up some more of "Ella's Kitchen" organic baby food. At our local grocery store at home, there isn`t the variety of organic baby food that I can find everywhere in Florida. Ella`s food came in these very convienent pouches, and the Baby enjoyed eating directly out of the pouch. I found it very easy to feed him on the go, because there were no bowls or spoons to clean up!
After Target we headed off to Jacksonville to visit the Husband`s cousins and have lunch at their house. It was a very nice visit and it was nice to have a home cooked meal while we were on the road! We visited for a couple of hours and then we were back on the road to our hotel in Savannah, Georgia. On the way to Savannah we stopped at a gift shop just before the Georgia border and picked up some key chains, salt water taffy and other small souvineers.We got to the hotel aroung 7pm and checked in. We went for a swim and then ate the leftover chinese food for dinner. Everyone fell asleep early because the beds were so comfortable, and next thing we knew it was the morning and we had another long drive ahead of us!
