May 9, 2012 - Wednesday

Today the Boy had a meeting with his coach, where he got his baseball schedule and uniform.  The Boy is nervous this year, it is the first year of ball where he will have to hit a pitched ball.  Hitting the ball off a T is one thing, but actually hitting a pitched ball will involve some practice and hand eye coordination.  Two things that the Boy is not interested in doing.  He feels as though he should just know everything, so it is not important to practice.  On Monday I mailed our Mother's Day present to my Mother-in-Law, and she called to say she received the gift today.  The Baby was listening to the message playing on the machine, and he made a huge smile, I just know that he recognized her voice.
