Today we had breakfast at the Best Western in Statesville North Carolina, and headed out on the road by about 9:30am. We had a long drive ahead of us, with over 600 miles to cover until we get to the house in Florida. We drove through South Carolina, and into Georga. We decided to have lunch in historic downtown Savannah. It was so beautiful, I really could have stayed there for a whole weekend, there was so much to see and do. It was a little rainy so we had our lunch and did a little shopping before heading back out onto the road. We had lunch at a place called "One Eyed Lizzy's", we had a very nice mexican lunch. I had fajitas and the kids each had quesadillas and soft taco's. It was very yummy.
We didn't get into the house until after 10pm, we were tired and later than we expected. The kids still managed a swim in the pool before going to bed.
The house is very pretty, nice high ceilings with four good sized bedrooms. I especially like the two master suites!
